When I first started my hair journey all I wanted was Bra Strap Length ...Then it changed to Middle Back Length and that was my final goal...Of course when I got there it didn't seem all that long ...From there it was Waist-length to HL...
I have been trimming and maintaining my hair at about WL-HL...But I have changed my mind again....Yep that's right I changed my mind...I'm thinking if I grow my hair longer .... My textured styles would be longer !!! Well it makes sense in my own mind..
So today starts my journey to Tail Bone Length Hair.. Its only a few inches away but for some reason I think this half of my journey won't be as easy as the first..
I'm putting myself back on intensive mode....Keeping my ends protected as much as possible...And staying away from heat except for deep conditioning...Braid outs will be my going out style on the weekends...
I will go back to documenting everything like I did in the beginning .... What I do ...When I do it...What I used ...So that means I will be blogging more..
It's summer so I will be co-washing more .. Only difference is this summer I won't be mixing my famous Aloe Vera Juice and glycerin mix.... I have been using other glycerin based products instead ...Easier that way ....
I plan to share my triumphs and frustrations and hope all you will help me along the way !!!

Go for it! MBL seems t be my conscious goal; but, if I get longer than that, WL will be it. No longer!

I am so encouraged & inspired by your progress! My hair is kind of cottony. It seems like watching grass grow for me, but I am still going to strive for my goal of APL by December. Even though my hair is now SL (neva been able to retain length past that eva), it still seems like I have so far to go. I am not giving up. I am still babying my hair girl. Thank you for continuing to share your journey with us! & YES it makes sense in my mind too that the textured styles will be longer.

This is exciting! I always look forward to reading your hair care tips. Me and my mother actually both now follow a lot of your advice. Im currently between shoulder length and armpit length in the back and on the sides, however in the front im trying to grow out some angled bangs I had cut a while ago. My goal is to grow my hair to waist length but i'd just be happy if i could get it to grow to at least mid back length in the front and back.
Hi Tracey! When I started my journey I wanted BSL, too. Then I changed it to MBL. Now I'm WSL and I want hip length... I think. I might go for classic length, but I will figure that out when I get to hip.
yes a woman CAN change her mind! LOL. its going to happen pretty quickly for you (God willing) and I'm excited about more blogging!!!! considering u don't wear your hair straight very often, this sounds like a great decision! Good luck!!!
